2016 – Year End Review

Holy heck, is 2016 really over?!?  I don’t know about for you, but it was a doozy.  Personally, it was filled with some really heartbreaking events, but 2016 definitely wasn’t a loss.  It was also filled with some pretty incredible things, especially for my business, including being named one of the Professional Photographers Society of Central Florida’s Top Ten Photographers of the year!

I was also a finalist in the 2016 Shoot and Share contest, which means at least one of my images made it into the top 3.5% out of over 200,000 entries!

I continued working towards my goal of earning my Master of Photography degree through the Professional Photographer’s of America, and earned a merit for this image in competition.

And then you may remember from this post, I entered into a charity contest to help raise money for Tiny Wings Foundation…and my image is January in the calendar!!!

Most importantly, I was chosen and trusted by so many people to capture some of their families most precious memories.  I am eternally grateful for all the support I have received from my family, friends and clients who have believed in me and can’t wait to accomplish even more in 2017!
