Meet Eric and Morgan! Eric is the brother of one of my good friends, and frankly I can’t believe I hadn’t met these two before their maternity session. And I’m glad I finally have because they are both fun and incredibly sweet people.
We picked Cocoa Village because they live close by and Morgan told me her and Eric love spending time there. One of my favorite thing about sessions in Cocoa Village is there are so many cool little spots around that no session is ever exactly the same.
I was so grateful Lilly, the owner of House of Pastel, allowed us to barge in to do a spur of the moment mini shoot inside her incredibly adorable bakery. Not only are the macaroons amazing, but the décor is super fun and looks like something straight out of a magazine. You can get a sneak peek of the shop by checking out my good friend Harmony, of Harmony Lynn Photography’s, vendor spotlight on her blog by clicking here. And House of Pastel is on the web here.
Ossorio Bakery is one of my go to spots in the village, both because they have delicious food (if you like salmon, Connor’s Catch is my fave) and their general manager Emma happens to be one of my good friends, and also a past portrait client. You can see their menu here. And they have really cute pink doors that make for a fun photo backdrop.
I’m not going to lie, I might have “stalked” Morgan’s Facebook page prior to their session (it’s not really that crazy right? right???) and realized her and Eric were married at the Historic Derby Street Chapel in the village. So I knew we absolutely had to go and take some pictures out front.
The session ended with Eric and Morgan surprising me with macaroons they had bought me from House of Pastel. I told you they are so sweet! Stay tuned. Baby Anderson will be coming to the blog soon and he is a cutie!
