Happy Veteran’s Day! I realized last night as I was finishing this up, it was a perfect session for a Veteran’s Day post. I cannot say thank you enough to all of those who have served our country, including the father of these two cuties.
I was still getting over how adorable Mr. Yale was during one of my recent sessions (if you missed it, you can check out the blog post here) when in walks my next show stealing older sibling. Miss Lily may be a little girl, but like a lot 3 year old’s, she has a very BIG personality! She was not in the studio a full 5 minutes before she had explained to me, very accurately, the path her little brother had just taken to enter the world. Seriously, I eat this stuff up! And when I looked at her mom and she just smiled and shrugged, I got my first sign Adrienne and I may very well end up being friends. I really think it has to do with the fact I tend to be a little on the blunt side (although I prefer to call it refreshingly honest), that I get such a kick out of the way little kids just tell it how it is.
In between my yakking it up with Lily, and laughing about the fact she was using one of my basket braids to pretend she was Elsa, I did get some shots of her new baby brother Eli. Their dad is a recent Air Force retiree, and works at a local hospital, so it was very cool to be able to incorporate his cap and stethoscope into the images. And the aviator outfit just because it’s so darn cute, and ties into the Air Force. Thank you again for your service Victor!
The obligatory bear shot. I mentioned it before on Facebook, but seriously, someone will probably have to take the bear away from me. I can’t stop using it! If by now you have decided you also need to have one, you can grab one on Tina’s page found here.
Stay tuned for more of this family on the blog. We did a little lifestyle session while I was over at the house helping Adrienne make some final design decisions on her wall art, and I’ll be posting some images from that session soon.
